The Community Garden is an exciting project set up by our Gardening Club here at The Hub. They aim to grow vegetables, fruit and herbs that can be utilized by the local residents and our very own Hub Cafe.

In November 2022 a fabulous group of volunteers helped clear the area designated for the garden. They worked hard all day clearing the perfect spot to site a polytunnel, raised beds and a compost area.

Funds to create the Garden have been kindly raised by the local community and beyond with a Just Giving page and a fabulous table sale that recently took place at the Hub.

Please keep an eye on this page for further updates and photos of the garden building process! It’s certainly looking different now, with sheds, fences and raised beds galore.
