Board Of Directors
The aim of the Upper Eskdale Development Groups is to make Eskdalemuir an even better place to live, by creating a variety of opportunities for the people here. Our Board of Directors has overall responsibility for the management of the UEDG's affairs.
Board Members can be nominated and voted in by members at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), or at other times. Board Members meet once a month, throughout the year. Anybody is welcome to attend the open part of these meetings, though only as an observer.
If applying to become a Board Member as a resident of Eskdalemuir, becoming a member of UEDG is the first step. An application form is then supplied to the Nominee (who must be a Board Member) for completion of their part. They then send this on to the person they are nominating, for completion. Another member of UEDG, or a Board Member, must then second the application.
