ALISS  ALISS  stands for Access to Local Information to Support Self-Management. It’s a wide-ranging project taking a number of approaches to making it easier for inquirers to find local support to manage their own health, providing the tools, activities and information they need to manage their condition effectively and live a full life.  Currently it is focussed on the Annan area but see their site for further details about how Upper Eskdale area services could be identified and listed.

Health Improvement Annandale & Eskdale
Health Improvement Annandale & Eskdale are part of the Local Health Partnership (LHP). They have a small team based at Sonas, within the grounds of Annan Hospital. They aim to improve the health and well-being of people living and working in Annandale & Eskdale and to contribute to reducing health inequalities in the area.They work with NHS colleagues and partners from the statutory and voluntary sectors as well as local communities and groups.
Kagyu Samye Ling Tibetan Centre Kagyu Samye Ling the first Tibetan Buddhist Centre established in the West is located about a mile and a quarter from Eskdalemuir.
